Voices: African American and Latina Women Share their Stories of Success

May 13th thru November 14th 2010

Beginning May 13, 2010 The African American Museum in Philadelphia will showcase a stunning exhibition entitled VOICES: African American and Latina Women Share their Stories of Success. This dynamic collection features 50 photographs of outstanding Pennsylvania women within the fields of industry, law, medicine, education, science, business, the arts and entertainment, technology and the non-profit arena.

Their stories, each chronicling an uplifting and inspirational journey, are expressed through extraordinary photographs and didactic panels. VOICES not only inspires but invites further exploration of how these remarkable women overcame challenges to achieve tremendous professional and personal success. This initiative of the Pennsylvania Commission for Women can be experienced at AAMP through November 13, 2010.
